November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), a month long challenge celebrating the transformational power of creativity through a seat of your pants approach to creative writing. NaNoWriMo participants start November 1 working on a first draft of a 50,000+ word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30. Everyone has a book in them, let NaNoWriMo be the launching pad for your greatness! All of that writing deserves a bit of relaxation & recognition, so on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Community Room, celebrate your success at our Thank Goodness It’s Over Party. There will be special recognition for those participants that finish their draft, brief 5 minute readings of our NaNoWriMo novels (by sign up only), tips on editing and what to do next, and more.
