Ruston Artisans Portraits Exhibition Opening Reception

Ruston Artisans cordially invites you to attend our Opening/Artists Reception Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. This event is free and open to the public. The Portraits Exhibition will be held from September 6 - September 28, 2018, and is unlike any other we have held. It will feature eighteen artists, seven of whom can be commissioned to paint or photograph you, a family member, your entire family, or even perhaps that furry family member. The artists are: *Jerry Berg, Leigh Buffington, *Cara Beth Buie, *Whitney Causey, Julie Crews, *Nicole Duet, Anna Farris, Kit Gilbert, Frank Hamrick, *Danny Helms, Peter Jones, Hooshang Khorasani, Box Leangsuksun, *Todd Maggio, Charlie Meeds, Amanda Roe, *Rickey Sikes, and Lacey Stinson (denotes availability for commissioned work). “In addition to a fabulous exhibition, we have a couple of surprises in store,” said Judith Null, Ruston Artisans owner. “A special portrait painting will be revealed at the Portraits reception. Artist Danny Helms has donated a painting of our very own Mayor, Ronny Walker. The painting will be auctioned on October 12, 2018 at the Beating Hearts: Stories of Domestic Violence reception and the proceeds will benefit D.A.R.T. We are also offering a discount on all artwork purchased during the Artist Reception on September 13th.”
