REAL LIFE Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Race/Walk

Join us at the GRAND Opening of The REAL LIFE Wellness Center. We are extremely excited to host a breast cancer awareness 5K race. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Louisiana Cancer Foundation/ the Cancer Foundation League. Thanks for your support! Registration: Early registration is $25 through October 22 (shirt guaranteed) $30.00 October 23- 26 (shirt NOT guaranteed) Race day- $35 (registration begins at 7:00 am and ends at 7:40 am) If you do not want to participate in the Race/Walk and just want to donate to the Louisiana Cancer Foundation please feel free to do so any amount is welcome. Course: The race will start and finish at the REAL LIFE Wellness Center. - North on Main St. -West on W Martin Luther King Jr. - Left on RWE Jones Dr. - Left on Main (at the fork/”Y” in the road) -Right on Central Ave. - Left on Stadium View Dr. - Left on College Ave. - Right on Main St. *REGISTER EARLY! No shirts guaranteed to late registrants!* Packet pick up Thursday, October 25 from 10 AM- 7 PM and Friday, October 26 from 3 PM- 8 PM at the REAL LIFE Wellness Center. Packets may also be picked up day of race beginning at 7:00 am until 7:40 am. Overall male and female finishers in the 5K Race will receive an award. Top male and female finishers in each of the following age groups will also receive an award. Age Groups: 10 and under,11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ ***Refreshments will be available*** If threatening weather exists, REAL LIFE Events may delay the start of the race up to one hour if possible. In the event that a delay is not possible, the event may be canceled. Refunds will not be given. Participant safety is our number one concern. If race officials deem it is unsafe for participants to be on the course, they reserve the authority to cancel the event. Refunds will not be given.
