November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), a month long challenge celebrating the transformational power of creativity through a seat of your pants approach to creative writing. NaNoWriMo participants start November 1 working on a first draft of a 50,000+ word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30. Everyone has a book in them, let NaNoWriMo be the launching pad for your greatness! This year, Lincoln Parish Library is a Come Write In Center and has got all your writing needs covered for November. On Thursday, November 1, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Community Room we’ll kick off NaNoWriMo with a Kickoff Extravaganza. Come and commit to the first draft of your novel, find a writing buddy, toss around ideas and play some word games to get the writing juices flowing!
