La Heat Dessert Pairing Competition

You are invited to attend Landry Vineyards "La Heat Tawny Lenoir" Release Party and Dessert Pairing Competition to be held at Landry Vineyards, on March 3rd, 7-9:30pm. Attendees will enjoy 7-10 dessert pairings provided by popular Louisiana Chefs and Restaurants with (2) 6 ounce glasses of Landry Vineyards "La Heat, Tawny Lenoir" wine. Attendees will vote for their favorite pairing. Chefs/Restaurants will be awarded first, second and third place with a plaque of recognition! "La Heat Tawny Lenoir" is a Madeira style wine. Lenoir grapes are passionately grown at Landry Vineyards. La Heat is handcrafted into a port style wine (fortified to 19.5% alc), then placed in barrels and heated at 110F for 6 months which caramelizes the sugars providing a very complex nut forward wine that pairs wonderfully with many desserts. Attend this event to discover Chefs, Restaurants and desserts that pair best with "La Heat Tawny Lenoir", grown and produced right here in Louisiana! Guest will be able to sample and purchase Landry Vineyards wines at the tasting bar. Wine will be available for purchase to take home and wine club members will receive normal wine club discounts.
