DESCRIPTION:We are creating a Pride event that celebrates the uniqueness of the people who make up NELA. We are a group of people from all different cultures and races\, ages\, and sexual orientations that are working together to create a sense of unity. The day will be entirely kid friendly and full of different activities for people of all ages. We want a safe and secure place for the LGBTQIA+ and parents of LGBTQIA+ to come together and be their authentic selves surrounded by those who accept them. And to learn what this area has to offer the queer community. We have so many local businesses and resources signed up to participate. We will have vendor booths selling their products\, local resources for the LGBTQIA+\, entertainment\, food\, and prizes and giveaways. If you have any questions please let me know. Here is just a smattering of what we will have: Resource Booths: Medical booths for trans and LGBTQ+ care Counselling centers Queer youth homeless shelters Northminister Church Tailor to measure for ordering gender-inclusive clothing online Voter registry booth Vendor Booths: Local artists and makers: original art\, soaps and skincare\, woodwork\, tannery\, Crystals\, Jewelry\, customer apparel\, pet treats and care services\, and MORE Entertainment and Kids Activities: Get Proud table with free rainbow and Pride accessories to deck out your outfit.
